Artist's Statement

Five-Forty-Seven

Five-Forty-Seven is an interactive virtual-reality experience designed to evoke a sense of unfamiliarity in the exploration of someone else’s home. VR gives participants the capability to interact with environments in ways never before possible, but this level of immersion comes with new challenges in creating a location that the viewer can truly believe themselves to be in. Five-Forty-Seven is a study of environment as character, and the ways in which emotional  information can be imparted to the viewer through this closed space.
