Humans tend to be rather arrogant and self-centered. We believe that if we continue to negatively impact the environment that it will be destroyed. Those who believe this seem to be blissfully unaware of how little impact we actually have on the environment. We are no match to grand floods, tornados, hurricanes, ice storms, and other powerful elements that have the potential to sweep humanity off its feet in an instant, yet we believe we alone can destroy Mother Nature. The idea of this piece is to convey this reclamation of nature and to show just how minuscule humanity is in a future setting. This work is a cautionary tale that humanity is what's endangered rather than the planet itself.
