A message from John Ellinger, Chief Information Officer:
Welcome to BGSU Information Technology Services (ITS)! At ITS, our goal is for you to have a great technology experience beginning with the first time you log in as a new member of the BGSU family. Whether it be connecting your device to the network, using technology in the classroom, or repairing your hard drive, we are here to help.
If you experience any technology issues on campus, our well trained, highly efficient staff stand ready to assist. Just call the Technology Support Center (TSC), chat with us online, or reach out to us on social media. Assistance is always within reach.
In addition to direct support, we also offer a variety of self-help articles and online support; just visit our service catalog and search for a topic!
Your information is very important to us, and several security measures are in place to help protect your data, including Duo Two Factor Authentication. Along with these data protection initiatives, we encourage each user to help us protect sensitive information by keeping passwords strong and not sharing them with anyone else at any time. Compromised accounts are our number one security issue and the biggest disruption to our BGSU family.
The ITS website is a highly powerful tool, with a tremendous variety of resources available for your use. I encourage you to browse our site and take note of the resources that will help make your time at BGSU a success.
Cheers!
John Ellinger, CIO
