Council of Chairs and Directors
Department Chairs and School and Institute Directors within the College comprise the Arts and Sciences Council of Chairs and Directors. The Council is established to facilitate a reciprocal flow of information between the dean of the college and the chairs and directors, as well as among the members to foster the individual and collective effectiveness of the members in the performance of their duties. Usually, meetings are scheduled once a month or whenever items of interest and concern are identified.
The Council of Chairs and Directors meets once a month with the Dean during the academic year. The Chairs and Directors Steering Committee is a sub-committee of the Council of Chairs and Directors which meets with the Dean to set the agenda for Council of Chairs and Directors meetings.
