Our summer studio classes are for students in grades 7th – 12th. Students wishing to pursue portfolio preparation and/or personalized studio studies as well as gaining insight into art school admission. Participants will select their preferred art focus of 2D or 3D.  Students will participate in 2 weeks studio time focusing on their personal interest in art with an art instructor. Studios will incorporate dedicated time design experiences in mini lesson as well as focusing their skill in a particular area of choice for most of the studio. BGSU student artists will guide art activities, present new techniques and artistic style and help students as they develop their artistic focus and skill.

Students will have the opportunity to conclude their program by starting or adding to, a digital portfolio in prep for art school admission.

 •Intensive Studio (Grades 10th – 12th) – Offers high school students who are serious about art making, a choice of focused studios to help develop technical skills and build studio practice. Studio choices include a range of disciplines in both fine art and design. Students will have an opportunity to develop work for their portfolio.

  •Creative Studio (Grades 7th-9th) – Is for students of all abilities who have a desire to expand their knowledge in the visual arts. It is a fun but rigorous program for young artists to develop their creative voice and skills in disciplines they love.

Students interested in these classes will need to be preregistered by mailing, faxing or emailing the forms as indicated on them.
