National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

Bowling Green State University participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) to collect data on the quality of the undergraduate experience, focusing on time and effort students put into their learning and development and institutional resources and support. NSSE surveys first-year and senior students to assess levels of engagement and related information about their experience at BGSU.

Information for the BGSU 2023 NSSE 

BGSU participated in the 2023 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). First-year and senior students received an invitation and reminders to complete the survey between March 15 - April 4, 2023. Eligible students had access to the survey link in Canvas. The NSSE closed on May 14, 2023.

$5 in BG1 Bucks were awarded to the first 100 first-year students and first 100 seniors who completed the survey.

Additionally, participants were entered to win one of several prizes through random drawings, including:

•           $500 NSSE Participation Scholarships awarded to 2 first-year students for Fall 2023

•           $250 Amazon Gift Cards awarded to 4 seniors

•           $50 Falcon Outfitters Gift Cards awarded to 20 students

•           $25 Falcon Outfitters Gift Cards awarded to 20 students
