LGBTQ+ Programs

Weekly Virtual LGBTQ+ Support Group*

BGSU continues to make critical decisions in an effort to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus to safeguard our students, faculty, staff, and broader community.  During this time, LGBTQ+ Programs and The Counseling Center will continue to offer a weekly LGBTQ+ and questioning support group on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30 pm ET in a virtual format.  If you would like to participate in this, please email Dr. Katie Stygles by 10 am ET on each Tuesday you would like to participate.  You will then receive a unique link to participate in a confidential webex room.

About Us

The LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer +) Resource Center's purpose is to provide programming, education, and support to the entire BGSU community.  It is a safe place where LGBTQ+, questioning, and ally students can gather to foster learning and affirm their sense of identity, community, and collaboration.  The LGBTQ+ Resource Center is a Safe Zone and through programming, education, and support, the staff promotes values of diversity and inclusion.  Located in the brand new facility in 427 Bowen Thompson Student Union, the LGBTQ+ Resource Center hosts a variety of resources, including books and media. We welcome any questions or suggestions that you may have to improve our service to the BGSU community.
