Academic Success Workshops

The Learning Commons provides opportunities for BGSU students to discuss and learn new success strategies for their academic pursuits. Through participation, each student can develop a "toolbox of success" for their BGSU career and beyond. We invite you to join our community of learners.

The Learning Commons collaborates with campus partners to provide workshops tailored to their needs. In the past, we have provided workshops for student organizations, academic departments, academic programs, and campus events. Some workshops we have offered in the past include

  • Effective Studying
  • Goal Setting
  • Growth Mindset
  • Motivation
  • Taking the GRE
  • Test Anxiety
  • Timed Exams
  • Transition to College

We've also presented to classrooms providing an overview of services offered by the Learning Commons.

If you have an interest in hosting a Learning Commons presentation or workshop, please send your inquiry to Jeremy Joseph, Assistant Director of Supplemental Learning Services.
