Transfer of Credits

You're not just transferring schools, you're also transferring credits you worked hard to earn.  BGSU evaluates credits from all accredited institutions and can even evaluate credit earned from the military or prior learning assessments.  Learn more about available resources to help you estimate how your credits may transfer to BGSU.

Scholarships & Aid 

Finding the right financial fit is just as important as finding the right academic fit. BGSU offers merit and need based scholarships specifically for transfer students. Grants, loans, and work experiences are also available to help finance your BGSU education. Last year BGSU also awarded more than a quarter of a billion dollars in aid to over 80% of our entire student body.

Apply

  • Complete the Online Application for transfer undergraduates
  • Submit all required documents and a $45 nonrefundable application fee ($75 USD for international applicants)
  • Once we receive your application and all required documents, an admission decision will be made in approximately two weeks. If admitted, your admission packet will include an official transfer credit evaluation.
