  • Jun 27, 2018 10:05 AM Summer music campers learn from BGSU faculty
    Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts' annual Summer Music Institute welcome more than 100 students to campus for three weeks of musical instruction in June. Middle and high school students from across the country spent a week on campus studying with BGSU faculty, guest artists and music majors, culminating in a concert for family and friends.

  • Jun 19, 2018 10:30 AM BGSU to host memorial concert in honor of late band director
    They called him “The Chief,” and at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 101 of his former students will play at Bowling Green State University’s Kobacker Hall in his memory. Mark Kelly, who directed the BGSU bands from 1966 to 1994, died in November 2017 at the age of 91.

  • May 9, 2018 3:59 PM Tenure, promotion granted by trustees
    The University celebrated the scholarly and creative achievements of 43 faculty members on May 4 when the board of trustees awarded promotion and tenure. The trustees also approved the hiring as associate professor with tenure of Dr. Neil Baird for the English department.
