For the health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff the BGSU College Credit Plus office is no longer offering daily on-campus visits, events or appointments due to the Novel Coronavirus ( COVID-19 ).

Admitted students intending to take a Summer/Fall 2020 course can schedule a phone/remote academic advising appointment online:

  • Logging into MyBGSU and select the Navigate Icon (formally SSC)
  • Choose “Schedule an Appointment”
  • Select “Advising” for appointment type, then meet “my CCP Advisor”
  • Select type of appointment (CCP Continuing Student Appt. or CCP Initial Appt. 1st time online or on-campus)
  • Location: Phone/Remote Meeting
  • Leave notes regarding your meeting concern.  Please leave the best number to reach you when we call for your appointment.
  • Select an available time on the calendar of your advisor


Under new State guidance assessment exam requirements(e.g., Accuplacer, ACT, SAT)  have been waived for prospective CCP students for Summer and Fall 2020.  Student’s with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered for Admission to BGSU’s CCP program.  For more information regarding State updates, please see guidance document released: COVID-19 Crisis Guidance for CCP Students & Families 


College Credit Plus

The goal of College Credit Plus (CCP) is to enhance high school students’ college and career readiness.

Perks include:

  • Completing high school and college credits simultaneously
  • One-on-one academic advising that will provide insight and direct guidance relating to career exploration and choosing a college major
  • On-campus tutoring and support services in subject-areas
  • Access to on-campus facilities such as the library, student recreation center, and computer labs
  • Free admission to select on-campus events, from athletic events to musical and theatrical performances
  • Opportunity to learn firsthand about the university experience
  • Completing a degree in less time and saving money
