The BGSU Testing Center provides secure test-proctoring services to the BGSU community. Priority scheduling is given to students that receive academic accommodations through BGSU Accessibility Services for extended test time or a space with limited distractions. Students that wish to utilize additional accommodations they have been granted should still schedule their exams through BGSU Accessibility Services. Other requests for exam proctoring are handled on a case-by-case basis (i.e. make-up exams, Math Placement exams), but in nearly all instances we can accommodate your proctoring needs.

Bring your BGSU student ID or other photo identification. Please be sure to arrive promptly for your appointment. The end of your appointment cannot be extended.

Please note, personal belongings cannot accompany you into the Testing Center for your exam. You will be provided a lock and key and directed to the bay of lockers down the hall from the testing room. All of your belongings, save anything that is permitted for the exam, must be left in the locker.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please contact us at testcenter@bgsu.edu, or call us at 419-372-1313.

Decision tree to determine if testing in the Testing Center is appropriate. One of the following situations must apply to you in order to test with the Testing Center. 1. You have exam accommodations that are limited to extended time and/or a space with limited distractions. 2. You have exam accommodations in addition to extended time and/or a space with limited distractions but do not intend to use these additional accommodations. 3. You are taking a make-up exam due to an approved absence. For any other situations, please contact the Testing Center with your questions. The appropriate process for scheduling an exam is as follows: 1. Speak with your professor about your desire to take the exam in the Testing Center. Receive their permission. 2. Schedule an appointment online. Select a seat and a start AND end time for your appointment. Upload your accommodation letter, if applicable. 3. Provide the details of your appointment to your professor. 4. Arrive on time. Good luck!
