Fall 2018 Application Now Available

High school juniors looking to get a jump-start on their fall 2018 college applications are now able to apply to BGSU through the BGSU hosted application.  (The 2018 BGSU Common Application will be available August 1, 2017.)  While students can submit an application now, BGSU cannot provide an admission decision until final junior year grades and an official ACT or SAT score are on file with our office.

If juniors are stating they have applied to BGSU for fall 2018 and are in need of a transcript, please be aware that we are requesting a final junior year transcript, not an in-progress transcript.  If you or your students have any questions, please reach out to the Admissions Counselor assigned to your school or contact our office.

Improved School Counselor Portal

The BGSU Office of Admissions is proud to announce an improved School Counselor Portal!  Registered users have access to a listing of all applied students from their school, can sort by Freshman or College Credit Plus applicants, and can easily upload transcripts or other official documents.  Login today to experience these enhancements or request access if you are not already registered.

University Freshman Academic Scholarship

Incoming fall freshmen may be eligible for a Univeristy Freshman Academic Scholarship ranging from $1,000 - $8,000.  Students must apply to BGSU by January 15, 2017 for automatic consideration based on their official GPA and ACT/SAT results.  No separate scholarship application is necessary.  Use our Scholarship Calculator to view potential awards and deadlines.
