School Counselors

We know the vital role School Counselors play in helping students choose the best path for their future and appreciate your work.  We look forward to connecting with you as we travel throughout the state of Ohio and across the country.  Until then, please utilize the resources below or reach out to our office or the BGSU Admissions Counselor assigned to your school/region if we can be of assistance. Go Falcons!

The BGSU Office of Admissions accepts documents uploaded through the School Counselor Portal as official, even if they lack a signature or school seal, as only verified users have access to upload documents for their students.  If uploading documents through the School Counselor Portal, please do not  send duplicate copies via email, postal mail, Common Application, fax, etc.

School Counselor Portal & eNotifications

BGSU's School Counselor Portal allows verified school officials to upload official transcripts for applicants as well as a school profile.  eNotifications send an email alerting you when a student from your school applies to BGSU.  Both services are free to school officials and require the submission of separate registrations.

School Counselor Portal

With BGSU's School Counselor Portal, you can view a listing of all students from your school who have applied to BGSU and securely upload transcripts and other official documents to their freshman or College Credit Plus application.  Log in today or request access if you are not already registered.

Submitting Transcripts, Test Scores, and Other Documents

Official transcripts, test scores, and other documents can be submitted through BGSU's School Counselor Portal or mailed to our office (address below).  BGSU also accepts electronic transcript submitted through platforms such as Naviance, Parchment, Scoir, & others.

Common Application: BGSU can only retrieve documents uploaded through the Common Application for students who submit a Common Application to BGSU.  If a student applies to BGSU using the BGSU-hosted application (instead of the Common Application) we are unable to retrieve documents uploaded through the Common Application.  This is the case even if the student submits a Common Application to other schools and you have successfully uploaded documents to these schools.

Please see our School Counselor FAQ page for information about the application process, document submission, and our School Counselor Portal.  If mailing transcripts or other materials please send to:
