Awarded to: Outstanding junior or senior, preference to classical studies or Latin major, based on knowledge of and interest in classical studies.
Dorothy Hayes Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship
Awarded to: Outstanding freshman or sophomore, based on knowledge of and interest in classical studies.
Wurzburger Memorial Scholarship for French Studies
Awarded to: Students who major or double major in French or French Education, and are committed to participating in La Maison Française learning community.
Wurzburger Memorial Scholarship for Education Abroad
Awarded to: Members of La Maison Française learning community to participate in a French-language education abroad program.
French House Grant
Awarded to: Residents of La Maison Française Learning Community in Kohl Hall. (Application not necessary; residency equates to automatic consideration)
Joseph L. Gray, III, German Scholarship
Awarded to: Incoming freshman from Ohio who has declared a major in German.
Dzidra Shllaku Scholarship
Awarded to: Undergraduate students with minimum 3.0 GPA participating in AYA Austria. Preference given to full-year abroad students and those demonstrating financial need.

Awarded to: Undergraduate students with minimum 3.0 GPA participating in AYA Austria. Preference given to full-year abroad students and those demonstrating financial need.
Galen & Katja Koepke Study Abroad Scholarship
Awarded to:Full-time graduate or undergraduate with minimum 3.0 GPA participating in AYA Austria program for 1–2 semesters.
Debra K. Peters Salzburg Study Abroad Scholarship
Awarded to: Full-time BGSU student enrolled in the Salzburg Study Abroad Program with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference given to German majors.
Christina Merrick Scholarship
Awarded to: Undergraduate student who has demonstrated excellence in the study of the Japanese language.
Dr. Hiroko Nakamoto Scholarship for Japanese Studies
Awarded to: Undergraduate student who has demonstrated excellence in the study of Japan.
Seiko & Charles McCann Family Scholarship
Awarded to: Undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership to promote American-Japanese friendship and understanding.
Janet M. Shanklin Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to: Undergraduate student who demonstrates attitude conducive to maximizing a full Academic Year Abroad (AYA) in Spain. Summer semester Education Abroad scholarships are also available.
Yvette Caldwell Wiseley Scholarship
Awarded to: Outstanding sophomore or junior Spanish major with high GPA
Bonnie R. Valiant Scholarship
Awarded to: Full-time students with minimum 3.0 GPA, planning to engage in academic experience in China.
Charles & Wanda Rich Scholarship
Awarded to: Full time undergraduates in College of Arts and Sciences with minimum 3.0 GPA, studying abroad for at least one semester.
CURS Summer Research Scholarship (Up to $2,500 awarded)

Stuart R. Givens Memorial Fellowship (up to three $7,500 awards)
Awarded to: Any full-time undergraduate students at BGSU, regardless of major or grade point average. Students must have completed at least two semesters at BGSU before their fellowship experience and must expect to return to BGSU for at least two semesters prior to graduation.
Hoskins Global Scholarship (up to five $5,000 awards)
Awarded to: Full time upper classmen or graduate students with minimum 2.5 GPA, accepted into semester-long study abroad program. Preference given to non-traditional destinations.
RING Fund for Study Abroad
Awarded to: Full time students in good academic standing; must demonstrate financial need. Preference given to students who have never studied abroad or outside of the state of Ohio, or have never had the opportunity to travel.
Ilse Thomas Scholarship for Study Abroad
Awarded to: Full-time students (junior or above) participating in study abroad programs in Europe.
Pretzer International Fund
Awarded to: Graduate and undergraduate students in Spanish, French, or German language programs.
Roger C. Anderson Scholarship
Awarded to: Full time College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate with minimum 3.2 GPA, studying abroad at least one semester. Preference for those with financial need and those engaging in a first-time international academic experience in Europe or Latin America.
