Selective Service Compliance

All male students who are Ohio residents between the ages of 18 and 26 must register with the Selective Service. 

All male students not in compliance with this law will be assessed an additional charge equivalent to out-of-state tuition for every term of enrollment until the student provides the appropriate documentation per Section 3345.32 of the Ohio Revised Code.

There are other financial implications if you do not submit your Selective Service number. Some grants and scholarships may be impacted if we do not have your Selective Service number on file: 

• Ohio College Opportunity Grant
• Choose Ohio First Scholarship 
• Ohio War Orphans Scholarship
• Waiving instruction and general fees for male students eligible for police and firefighter tuition benefits
