Admission Services

Your application and enrollment steps depend on the type of student you are. The Office of Registration and Records handles admissions for the following student types and reviews transfer credits for transfer students.

All other students apply through the Office of Admissions.

Readmission

You are considered a readmit student if you:

  • Have previously been admitted into and attended a BGSU undergraduate degree program
  • Have not maintained enrollment in the past 2 years

Guest student admission

"Guest" is a temporary classification for people who:

  • Have not been admitted into a degree program at BGSU and
  • Want to take undergraduate classes (numbered 0-4999) at BGSU

Graduate non-degree student admission

A graduate non-degree student is defined as a student who has earned a 4-year degree and who wishes to enroll in graduate courses without pursuing another degree.

Concurrent enrollment

Students can be concurrently enrolled at Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. They take courses at both universities and receive credit toward a degree.
