Workshops

The Counseling Center offers a variety of workshops for BGSU students to learn more about particular topics and learn skills.  

Abolish Anxiety-This 90-minute, one-time workshop offers participants information about anxiety, skills, and tools on how to better manange their experiences with anxiety.

Demolish Depression-This 90-minute, one-time workshop offers participants information about depression, the brain, skills to navigate depression, and tools on how to best address concerns with depression.

Relish Relationships-This 3-part workshop series focuses on three types of relationships: friendships, romantic/affectional relationships, and professional relationships.  In each 90-minute workshop we address topics as, "how to be a good friend", "what is a healthy relationship?", values, sex and intimacy, and more! Note:  You can attend one or all of the workshops in this series!

Skills for Life-This 4-part, 60-minute workshop series addresses four important skills for life: mindfulness (staying in the present moment), managing distress, identifying and regulating emotions, and assertiveness in relationships.
