Equine Group Therapy

The Counseling Center has partnered with Project H.O.P.E. — an equine assisted therapies program — to offer BGSU students a new equine therapy outreach group.

Through the healing touch of horses, this group therapy program could help you:

  • Become aware of the components to a healthy relationship.
  • Accept things that may need to change to have a healthy relationship.
  • Practice and experience mindfulness and relationship building skills with equines and participate in equine assisted activities.

Now accepting 2025 Spring program participants!

Equine Group Therapy is FREE and open to all BGSU students. No experience with horses is required to participate.
