TRIO Summer Link Program
About Summer Link
August 2022 early move-in on the Saturday before regular move-in begins
The TRIO Student Support Services Summer Link Program is a free early move-in option for first-year, first-generation students registered full-time at BGSU admitted to TRIO Student Support Services (SSS). During SSS Summer Link, you will meet other SSS students, get acclimated to the BGSU campus, learn about campus resources and support services, be introduced to your TRIO advisor and discuss goals, time management, and study strategies tailored to meet your unique needs, participate in engaging activities, and much more! Space is limited. Sign up early to reserve your spot.
How to Register
To attend the TRIO Summer Link program, students must (1) apply to join TRIO Student Support Services and (2) complete the follow-up TRIO Summer Link registration form no later than July 31.
Students will be contacted about being selected for the TRIO SSS summer link program by the end of the first week of August.
Please note: The Office of Residence Life requires TRIO Student Support Services Summer Link Program students to their BGSU bursar bill paid in full or have their payment plan arranged and the first installment paid at least one week in advance of the first day of the start of the summer program. Your Summer Link registration may be cancelled if Residence Life does not authorize your move-in before the first day of programming. While the TRIO Summer Link program is free, participation in TRIO Summer Link program is REQUIRED. If you move in early as one of our TRIO Summer Link students and do not attend programming, the Office of Residence Life may bill their standard fee for early move-in to you instead. Contact TRIO SSS staff as early as possible if you run into any problems with these obligations.
All TRIO SSS Summer Link students are required to be enrolled in section of BGSU 1910 taught by TRIO SSS staff. Contact us if an exception needs to be made. Examples include majors and programs that have replacement courses for BGSU 1910.
