The past year challenged us, but we embraced our role as a 21st-century public university for the public good and launched FORWARD., a guiding strategy defined by action. We've identified 21 moments during 2020-21 that moved us forward and will continue to make us better. Bowling Green State University introduced a new, flexible approach to learning with Design My BGSU for Fall 2020, giving students the opportunity to customize their 2020-21 learning experience during the global pandemic.

A year ago, Bowling Green State University was faced with a decision universities across the country were weighing: how to safely navigate an in-person campus life experience during a global pandemic. BGSU leaders found a way forward early that allowed the University to remain open, introducing a series of new events and maintaining the traditions that make the BGSU experience memorable.
