Originally published under the authority of the Clean Water Act, the Oil Pollution Prevention regulation outlines requirements for the prevention of, preparedness for, and response to oil discharges at specific non-transportation related facilities that own aboveground and underground oil storage tanks. This also includes facility-specific response plans. Because of these regulations, Bowling Green State University has a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan in place, which is managed by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.

Program

The Spill Contingency Plan is fully approved by the management of Bowling Green State University and is available upon request from Environmental Health and Safety (419-372-2171 or envhs@bgsu.edu).
