Dr. Daniel BrahierDr. Daniel Brahier

ACTION Program Director

"Dr. B." has served as Director of ACTION since 2011 and has been teaching at BGSU since 1994.  He is also the coordinator of the AYA (Secondary) Mathematics Education program at BGSU.  He describes ACTION as "the type of teacher preparation opportunity that I wish I had experienced as an undergraduate."  He has had the pleasure of teaching classes and presenting workshops all over the world, from Singapore to Australia, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada, Germany, and England.  An avid guitarist and songwriter, Dr. B. and his wife, Anne, have three adult sons who are all college graduates.  He is an ordained Catholic deacon who serves at St. Thomas More University Parish in Bowling Green and enjoys trips to Colorado in the summer to hike and backpack with his family.

Wendy StandingerWendy Standinger

ACTION Program Manager

Wendy is a BGSU alum, and she and her husband are Falcon Flames. After moving away for ten years, they came back to Bowling Green in 2006. She has been the full-time Program Manager for ACTION since it began in 2009 and loves being part of this amazing program and helping it continue to improve every year. Wendy likes to stay involved with her three young adult children who live in town and helps with a campus ministry, plays tennis, and enjoys walking/hiking and being outdoors.

Cindy FullerCindy Fuller

ACTION Program Secretary

Cindy joined the ACTION staff in December 2014 as the Senior Secretary.  While many look forward to retirement, Cindy has been told many times that she doesn’t know how it works – she retired from BGSU in 2011 but has come back to the university on a part time basis.  Cindy graduated from BGSU and worked in the College of Education and Human Development as well as in Information Technology Services before retiring.  Outside the work environment she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at her church and Habitat of Wood County and travels as time allows.
