Kacee Ferrell Snyder, Ph.D., is the Director of the Center for Women and Gender Equity & Gender Violence Prevention and Education Services (CWGE). Kacee has worked in a variety of functional areas in higher education for over 15 years and has served as the Director of the CWGE for five years. She has an established record of supporting students in their growth and clearing pathways for access, and a passion for educating and empowering others in order to help them access the resources they need to be successful. She is a two-time alumna from BGSU with a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and an M.A. in College Student Personnel, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ohio State University. She is a mother of two, and enjoys spending time with her family, her dog - Hoagie and cat - Neko, reading, and traveling. Kacee also owns a small home-based business. She recently completed her doula training with the Commonsense Childbirth Institute, a program for those who intentionally want to practice using an equity lens and who are interested in working towards reducing birth outcome disparities for women of color and lowering maternal mortality. She is also committed to serving her community, and currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for The Cocoon, the Past Chair of Administrative Staff Council at BGSU, as a member of the Shakespeare Roundtable, the Vice President for Programming for the Bowling Green chapter of the American Association of University Women, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Wood County Hospital Foundation Board. She recently finished a 6-year term on the BG Community Foundation board as a trustee. She is an affiliated faculty member in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and teaches Women and Interpersonal Violence each fall, as well as affiliated faculty in Higher Education and Student Affairs, where she teaches a variety of classes in the graduate program. She looks forward to continuing to support students, faculty, and staff as we work together to advance the potential for gender equity at BGSU and beyond.

Kori Koschalk-Newmister is the Assistant Director of the Center for Women and Gender Equity & Gender Violence Prevention and Education Services. Kori spent nearly 13 years in the world of non-profit, facilitating comprehensive sexuality education with Toledo area youth. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from BGSU in 2007. Kori is ecstatic to be back on campus, promoting the incredible work of the CWGE! In her free time, she enjoys crafting, baking, spending time with family, and traveling with her husband and dogs!

Bryan Bove-Wimberley

Bryan Bove-Wimberley is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Women and Gender Equity & Gender Violence Prevention and Education Services. Bryan has worked in higher education since 2019 and served as a k-12 educator for nearly a decade prior. Most recently, they were the Assistant Director of LGBTQIA Student Services in the Office of Inclusion at Northern Arizona University. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Theatre Arts from Linfield University, a Master of Arts in Literature and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from New York University, and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Bowling Green State University. He is currently a PhD Candidate in the American Culture Studies program at BGSU, with a focus in queer theory, disability, and comics studies. Bryan is thrilled to be back in the CWGE, where they completed a two-year graduate assistantship. In his free time, Bryan enjoys reading, drawing, going on adventures with their husband, and cuddling with his cats and corgi.

Tatiana Zeadker is the Masters of Social Work Intern in the Center for Women and Gender Equity. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Toledo. Tatiana has spent the past year as a Service Coordinator working with families and their kiddos. In her free time Tatiana enjoys going to Cyclebar, having movie nights with friends, and spending time with her cat Waldo.

Jennifer is a third year student at Bowling Green State University. She is majoring in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her minor is Business. She is from Columbus, Ohio. She is a Feminist Ambassador (FAB) for the CWGE as well as a representative for the CCAMPIS/ Student Parent Program. She loves to draw, paint, hang out with her little brother, and listen to music. She is looking forward to educating herself and others through the lens of the CWGE and the CCAMPIS/Student Parent Program. She is also looking forward to applying the knowledge she gains from the CWGE to her Major.

Willow Camper

Willow is a first year and first-generation college student. They are majoring in biology and specifying in ecology. She is from new Carlisle, Ohio. She is a feminist ambassador for CWGE as well as a nature educator for national trails in her hometown. Willow's main interests include creating art, teaching art/nature education, and going to local concerts. They are looking forward to getting their master's in entomology and eventually working their way up to becoming a preserve manager after college. She is also looking forward to forming lifelong connections with her BGSU community through working with CWGE.

Courtney is a nontraditional parenting student in her last year of undergraduate study. She is studying Psychology with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is the president of the Nontraditional Student Organization, and works towards providing visibility and inclusivity for nontraditional students at BGSU. She hopes to continue her education after graduation by working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys being in nature and gardening. She also loves to read and work on craft projects.

Julia Phillips

Julia is a first-year student at Bowling Green State University. She is majoring in Adolescent to Young Adult Integrated Language Arts, with the hopes of becoming a high school English teacher. She is from Parma Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She aspires to carry the empowerment, inspiration, and advocacy of the CWGE to her future career in the education field. Outside of being a feminist ambassador, Julia loves creative writing, thrifting, baking, listening to music, and supporting her local public libraries.

Tegan is a fourth-year BGSU student studying Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is a Feminist Ambassador and the co-president of URGE (Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity). She likes true crime documentaries, traveling, and spending time with her friends. As a Feminist Ambassador, Tegan hopes to spread awareness and education to others about feminist issues and create an inclusive environment for everyone on and off campus.

Mitchell Thatcher

Mitchell is a first year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Aside from being a graduate student and alumni of BGSU, Mitchell also works as a GA in the Office of Health and Wellness. He is also the president of the National Alliance on Mental Illness BGSU and his primary area of focus is sexual education, sex therapy, and diversity and inclusivity in social spaces. Mitchell dreams of opening his own private practice, teaching in higher education, and working with/providing new counseling opportunities for the Ohio area. In his free time, he loves plant collecting, music, singing, fitness, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and unwinding with a video game or watching Sex and the City.

Reagan Zehnder

Reagan is a fourth year at BGSU pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication with minors in media production/studies and journalism. She is from Magnolia, Ohio. In addition to being Lead Feminist Ambassador, Reagan serves as the Secretary of the Thompson Scholarship Student Leadership Team, works at the student package center, and is interning at WTVG (13Action News/13 ABC) in Toledo. Reagan wishes to one day work in the journalism field as a reporter or producer. She is excited to implement the skills and knowledge she gains as a Feminist Ambassador to promote a kind, accepting, and inclusive campus. In her free time, Reagan enjoys listening to music, playing NYT games, watching documentaries, and spending time with her loved ones.
