YOUR MEMORIES

  • The best memory from my freshman year was joining Alpha Omicron Pi. This was by far the best decision i have made in my entire college career. It’s not just 4 years it’s for life♥️
  • I remember my very first encounter with SICSIC. I was making a late night food run from Harshman to Kriescher when I saw a person with a mask and jumpsuit standing near the basketball court. At first glance, I was a little scared. There was no one else out in the area and I saw this random person with a mask. After leaving Kriescher to head back to my room, I noticed there were more people out there with these masks and they were laughing. I was a little nervous to walk by them and I think they noticed because they started coming toward me! Once they got a little closer, they threw something in my direction and ran off. When I looked, it was candy! I yelled “wait” but they kept going. It wasn’t til that weekend at our game that I saw them again and learned who they were. Of course, they were out there throwing candy, showing school spirit and cheering our team on.
  • I remember coming to campus for MAPS preview day and not wanting to leave campus since. I fell in love with the scenery first, but my love for the BG faculty and surrounding community was sure to follow. I am proud to call myself a falcon!

  • My freshman year was filled with laughter & adventure. My Mcdonald Hall family would go to oaks for dinner nearly every night & spend sunny days at the volleyball court. I loved spending times with my delta gamma sisters making family meals together and volunteering for our philanthropy. My cohort soon became my family as we worked through different projects together. Overall, my freshman year was unforgettable and one of my favorite years at college.

  • The first day I was greeted by my random roommate with an excited smile. We bonded with the girls one floor above us when they knocked on our door and said, 'Do you want to get dinner at the Carillon with us?!' We excitingly agreed and quickly became the best of friends. I can thank Carillon for giving me the best roommates who I've lived with all 4 years of school.
  • I remember walking into my dorm room being so nervous to meet my random roommate, but she turned out to be my best friend!
  • One of my two favorite memories was my freshman year, when I found out I joined Pi Beta Phi and knew I would gain 80 wonderful sisters and could be apart something I’m so passionate about. I also loved getting involved with club hockey and becoming their safety man. Getting involved with 2 great organizations brings the greatest memories to me.
