Research
At BGSU Herpetarium
Through the Herpetarium, undergraduates have the unique opportunity to perform research related to husbandry of reptiles and amphibians. Past research topics include housing, food preferences, the effect of different foods on growth rate, inheritance patterns, and the effect of incubation temperature on color in geckos. Research projects have been funded by SETGO (an NSF grant) or through BGSU’s CURS program.
