Online criminal justice master’s program ranked in top 10

College Choice ranks BGSU’s online Master of Science in Criminal Justice seventh in the country

College Choice has ranked BGSU’s Master of Science in Criminal Justice program as the No. 7 online criminal justice master’s program in the country.

According to College Choice, professionals who wish to increase their knowledge of criminal behavior and correctional systems, increase their chances of a career in leadership or get involved in a research career should consider a graduate degree in criminal justice. It ranked the top 35 online graduate programs in criminal justice, using data from U.S. News & World Report, the National Center for Education Statistics and PayScale.

“BGSU’s highly qualified faculty are well respected nationally in their field and bring real-world experience to their teaching,” said M. Sue Houston Dean, Interim of the College of Health and Human Services. “This ranking is a reflection of their hard work and the dynamic relationships they have with our students.”

Through its eCampus, BGSU offers eight-week courses year-round with six different start dates. Even while taking classes part-time, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice can be obtained in less than two years by taking the 11 required courses. BGSU’s program provides students flexibility while maintaining a strong graduate foundation in criminal justice.
