‘James and the Giant Peach’ rolls into Caryl Crane Youth Theatre

Caryl Crane Youth Theatre at BGSU Firelands takes the stage with “James and the Giant Peach,” the new musical based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel. Playing Sept. 8-18 in the McBride Auditorium, “James and the Giant Peach” is a perfect theatre outing for the entire family. Directed and choreographed by CCYT Artistic Director Brian Marshall, the musical showcases the talents of 63 young actors from 19 area schools.

“James and the Giant Peach” continues Caryl Crane’s new Kids’ Night Out Thursday performances, beginning at 7 p.m. This earlier curtain time will allow families with busy weekends a chance to see the show together on a school night, and still be home in time for lights out.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and 15; at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 16; and at 2 p.m. Sept. 10, 11, 17 and 18, in the McBride Auditorium on the BGSU Huron campus. Tickets range from $6-$14, and go on sale Aug. 29. To purchase, call 419-626-1950, or order online at www.sanduskystate.com.
