Mike and Sara Kuhlin Award for Exceptional Student Leadership

The C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement is pleased to announce the Mike and Sara Kuhlin Award for Exceptional Student Leadership to recognize the contributions of BGSU students.

Award Selection Criteria: Rising seniors (currently in their junior year) are eligible to be nominated for this award. Recipients are selected solely based on nomination letters and supporting materials; students do not apply for the award themselves. Candidates will be evaluated on how they have developed and demonstrated their leadership while a student at BGSU. All nominations will be reviewed and ranked by staff in the C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement.

Recipients will receive a $5,000 reward in recognition of their leadership development and contributions since becoming a student at BGSU.

To be eligible for the Mike and Sara Kuhlin Award for Exceptional Student Leadership, nominees must meet the following minimum criteria:

* Have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours, with the intent to graduate the following spring

* Demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 2.75

* Special consideration will be given to students that have been involved in the C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement

The Mike and Sara Kuhlin Award for Exceptional Student Leadership will be awarded for the first time in 2024. Recipients will be listed on this page when selected.
