Bowling Green State University is home away from home for 22,000 students. The campus provides many opportunities for every student attending the over 100-year-old school and continues to expand its organizations. BGSU prides itself on being a diverse college, which is why it promotes the development of its many diverse organizations.
The Division of Diversity and Belonging is home to the Office of Multicultural Affairs, LGBTQA+ Programs, TRIO Programs, the Center for Women and Gender Equity, the Center for Violence Prevention and Education, and the Office of Title IX. Each department offers programs and services for students, faculty, and staff.
The Counseling Center staff strives to promote the psychological wellbeing of students from diverse backgrounds; to foster their development, learning, and academic success; and to provide appropriate intervention when students are experiencing serious mental health concerns.
Accessibility Services has a mission of providing equal access and opportunity to qualified students, faculty, and staff with disabilities.
International Programs & Partnerships works with current and prospective international students and collaborates with units on campus to provide multiple services for students traveling internationally.
LGBTQ+ Resource Center provides programming, education and support for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans community while building a stronger base of allies and advocates.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs promotes, facilitates, and advocates for a welcoming, socially just and inclusive campus community by supporting the retention of diverse student populations, providing diversity education and multicultural programs for students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community.
Nontraditional and Military Student Services provides assistance to support nontraditional students starting or restarting their education and active-military or Veteran students in navigating the application process and easing the transition to BGSU.
The Office of Human Resources (OHR) monitors University compliance with federal and state equal opportunity and nondiscrimination laws and regulations.
The TRIO Programs Office at Bowling Green State University comprises several educational outreach and academic enrichment programs designed to motivate and assist students to enter and succeed in higher education.
The mission of the Center for Women and Gender Equity is to make manifest the University's commitment to maintaining a campus climate in which women receive equal access, just treatment, and opportunities to utilize their talents to their fullest and most meaningful extent.
Off-Campus Student Services provides resources to all off-campus students, including students living in Bowling Green and those commuting from a great distance.
The Campus Multifaith Alliance Team serving BGSU is made up of professional campus ministers and affiliates representing a variety of faith communities in and around Bowling Green, Ohio.
They provide resources for personal and community growth and support to BGSU by coordinating and promoting events and services of all of our represented beliefs. Campus Multifaith Alliance is an expression of every faith's desire to be present to those who are involved in higher education, especially students, and including all staff and university personnel.
