Both the Co-Ed & All-Girl teams cheer at all home football, basketball and volleyball games. Select travel squads will attend away football games, MAC tournament games and NCAA games.  The travel squads are determined based on dedication, work ethic, position and number we are permitted to travel.

Our program values a team culture that is built upon respect and inclusivity. We strive to build positive relationships with one another that resemble a family. Our program also puts a strong emphasis on leadership development to provide members with skills that they will be able to take with them into their futures.

The BGSU Cheerleading Program puts a strong emphasis on being a STUDENT first. All athletes are required to log study hours as well as have their grades checked frequently throughout the semester. The team is given a lot of valuable resources to help assist them in achieving academic success. Athletes are required to have a GPA of 2.5 or higher to be eligible members of the team.

As a program we compete at the UCA College National Cheerleading Championship. Please see our National Tab to learn more.
