Residential Resource Center

Residential Resource Center (RRC) is a dedicated space in each residence hall offering a variety of academic support resources to residents.  Each RRC has an assigned Resident Success Mentor (RSM) who is available to provide extensive services to meet the academic needs of students in the residence hall.

Resident Success Mentor

Resident Success Mentor | Serves as the first line of contact for first year residential students. The Resident Success Mentor is responsible for developing a positive, supportive relationship with students, providing leadership and guidance in helping them adjust to life as a college student. The Resident Success Mentor is also responsible for event planning, implementation, and management.

Resident Success Mentor Services and can help with the following:

• Mentorship| 1:1 or group mentorship
• Host and lead affinity groups
• Maintain approximately 5 hours of dedicated office time per week to assist students requesting in-person 
• Programming
• Assist with planning or facilitating 1-2 workshops/ongoing events to engage the residential population in student success topics
• Organize and lead a monthly small group meeting/event with assigned mentees
• Provide stress relief techniques
• Set-up advising appointments
• Review the Degree Audit (DARS) system

Resident Success Mentors are available at the following times:

• Agatha: Monday & Wednesday 10:30am-1:30pm
• Caleb: Tuesday 1pm-6pm
• Jailyn: Thursday 11:30am-4pm
• Kierra: Tuesday 1pm-2:30pm & Wednesday 11am-4pm
• Kyrsten: Tuesday 1:30pm-5pm
• Malcolm: Wednesday 12pm-3pm & Thursday 10am-12pm
• Rachel:  Monday 3:30pm-6pm & Wednesday 2:30pm-5pm
• Carrie:  Monday & Wednesday 12pm-5pm
• Kayla:  Tuesday 4pm-9pm
