Business Operations is responsible for the processing and disposal of items which are no longer needed or usable by BGSU. This centralization is important to ensure compliance and to match the surplus property of one University department with the needs of another. The goal is to redistribute property to other University departments wherever feasible.
If your department has University owned items you wish to sell, please fill out the following form. Proceeds from the sale will be returned back to you department, minus any fees or operating expenses.
A representative may reach out to you if additional information is needed. Once your item(s) have been placed on the site and are open for bid, you will receive a confirmation email from a member of our team. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Please Note: For items which originally cost more than $3500, an Equipment Disposal Form must also be completed and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. In cases where the purchase value is unknown but could be near or above $3500, please complete the form so Business Operations and the Controller’s Office can assess whether the item is on the University’s fixed asset inventory.
