Online Photo Submission Examples

Current BGSU students/faculty/staff/affiliates are able to request their BG1 Cards online and submit their photos electronically. In order for your application and photo to be accepted, you must complete the application form below and fulfill one of the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in at least one course for the current or future semester
• Be an active individual as indicated by either Current Employee Summary or External ID
• Be on an approved list previously submitted to BG1 Card Services by an approved BGSU department

Your photo must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Your head must be free of any items (no hats, caps, scarves, headphones, sunglasses, etc.)
• Nothing can be covering your face (no hair, symbols, scarves, sunglasses, etc.)
• Photo must be of your full face and shoulders only (no side shots or angle views)
• Photo must be recent (within the past 6 months)
• Photo must have a solid neutral background (white or off-white)
• Photo must be in JPEG format (.jpg)
• Photo must be no larger than 1200 x 1600 pixels
• Photo must be in color (no filters)
• Photo must be clear (not blurry)
  
• You may smile if you wish, but it must be your normal and natural smile
• No cropping is necessary - all cropping will be done by the BG1 Card Office
