Deposit BG Bucks
By depositing funds to your BG1 Card, you can make purchases through a stored value or prepaid account, known as BG1 Bucks. Your card can then be used for printing, on-campus vending and at multiple off-campus restaraunts and shopping locations – and as you use your card, your account balance decreases as funds are spent.
Off-campus Locations that Accept BG1 Bucks
There are various locations located off-campus that have partnered with BGSU and accept BG1 Bucks.

Unspent funds remain in your BG Bucks account until you spend them. Participation is completely voluntary and can be changed or stopped at any time!
Please note: If checks are returned for insufficient funds, a fee will be posted to the Bursar account.
BG1 Bucks Refunds
Refunds from your BG Bucks may be obtained upon graduation, separation from BGSU or at the end of the spring semester. The refund process takes approximately 3-4 weeks and is sent in the form of a check to the cardholder’s address. A $10 processing fee will be assessed.
If the balance on the account is below $10, a refund will not be processed. BG Bucks accounts with no activity during a 24-month period are considered inactive and subject to a service charge.
