Marshall Rose to give talk on legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
Marshall Rose, former BGSU director of equity, diversity and immigration services, will return to town Friday (Jan. 16) as the keynote speaker for the 26th annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. hosted by the city of Bowling Green’s Human Relations Commission.
The event will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Wood County District Public Library, 251 N. Main St. It is free and open to the public.
Also at the celebration, this year’s Drum Major for Peace recipient will be announced, and the Shades of Brown Singers, featuring Sheila Brown, BGSU Office of Multicultural Affairs, will perform.
