Every Fall, the School of Art offers a special day for high school juniors and seniors to explore all the different areas of visual art at BGSU. Get a taste for each and every area including, all the Studio areas, Graphic Design, Art Education, Digital Arts, and Art History.

Every Fall, the School of Art attends National Portfolio Day Association events. These events allow high school students to meet with a member of our faculty who will give the students feedback on their portfolios. This is a great opportunity to interact with faculty.

Sit-in on classes and meet faculty in the areas you are thinking of majoring in. Take a tour of the School of Art facilities, including the Fine Arts Center and the Wolfe Center for the Arts. Tours leave from the Fine Arts Center lobby every 30 minutes, beginning at 9 am (until 2 pm). Visit our tables in the Fine Arts Center lobby for information about our programs.

Visit galleries, watch performances of music, dance, and theatre, screenprint a T-shirt, sip some hot cocoa, and do some holiday shopping while also supporting BGSU art students. ArtsX(travaganza) highlights the work of all the Arts at BGSU in one exciting night.
