2026 ArtsX: Connections
Saturday, December 5 | 5-9 p.m.
BGSU Fine Arts Center & Wolfe Center for the Arts
ArtsX is a showcase and celebration of the arts at BGSU! The theme for this year's event is Connections. This annual winter event is free and open to all ages. Enjoy musical, theatrical and dance performances; exhibits, demonstrations and hands-on arts activities; and holiday shopping for unique, handmade gifts.
We are accepting proposals for perfomers and exhibitors now through Wednesday, November 11.
Guest Artist: Brad Scherzer
Don’t miss the interactive art installation, POOF!, by guest artist and BGSU alumnus, Brad Scherzer ‘10. POOF! is a giant creature sporting a symbiotic relationship with humans. This glowing geodesic dome is a kinetic experience. Participants move in and out of the “creature” feeding it new poofs and then watching as they fly out from the ceiling and walls of the inside. The tubes weave, loop, and cross making it a surprise where these neon foods will come out next.
To individuals with disabilities, please indicate if you need special services, assistance or appropriate modifications to fully participate in this event by contacting Accessibility Services at access@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8495. Please notify us prior to the event.
