WGSS Symposium 2023 Winners

The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program @BGSU hosted the Annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research and Creative Virtual Symposium March 13-16, 2023 in honor of Women’s History Month. Students were encouraged to submit a personal or scholarly essay or art/creative project that speaks to the diverse experiences of all women and nonbinary people. Submissions represented topics related to the field of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in any literary and artistic form; personal essays, photo essays, collage, and/or academic work. Student projects were judged by a panel of faculty for cash prizes and their submitted video summaries were viewed and voted on by the public for The People’s Choice Public Scholarship Award.
