The BGSU Office of Admissions accepts documents uploaded through Slate.org as official, even if they lack a signature or school seal, as only verified users have access to upload documents. If uploading documents through the Slate.org, please do not send duplicate copies via email, postal mail, Common Application, fax, etc.

• Note: if your student did not apply to BGSU via the Common App, please do not try to send their credentials to us via the Common App. We won’t receive them through that method if they applied through our Falcon Application.

We understand that every student is going to approach their college journey in a different way. While we will gladly accept ACT or SAT scores, we understand that not all students have been able to take and/or want to submit an ACT or SAT score. Therefore, Bowling Green State University is offering applicants the opportunity to have their applications reviewed without consideration of test scores. The surest way for a student to get a scholarship offer is to apply to BGSU! Once they’re admitted, BGSU will begin making scholarship offers based on a comprehensive review of the application with our merit-based University Freshman Academic Scholarship ranging from $1,000 to upward of $9,500. Additional scholarship opportunities are available through the searchable scholarship guide.

We're offering a variety of in-person visit options, so your students can learn more about living and learning here at BGSU. Between on-campus events and select virtual information sessions to complement their college search, students will be able to explore BGSU their way all year. From scholarships to majors (and everything in between) – we're designing events with them in mind.
