New Members of the Athletics Family

STACY KOSCIAK

Stacy Kosciak serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator for the Falcons. In her role, she directly oversees Women's Basketball, Volleyball and Women’s Soccer. Other areas she has a role in include Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, Compliance, and Student-Athlete Services. She is responsible for diversity, equity and inclusion as well as Title IX (Gender Equity and Sexual Violence) and serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Kosciak previously spent more than 20 years at UNC Greensboro in coaching and other administrative roles.

RYAN HITE

Ryan Hite joined the BGSU Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Development in November 2019. A native of Findlay, Ohio, Hite most recently served as a major gift officer at Denison University, his alma mater. He has spent the past 17 years as a coach, administrator and development officer at the high school and college level. Hite lives in Bowling Green and works with the Falcon Club and major donors to the Department of Athletics.

DANI JOHNSON

Dani Johnson, a Toledo native, joined the Falcon Women’s Soccer program after coaching under Jimmy Walker for two highly successful seasons at the University of Findlay. In six years at the collegiate level — four as a player and two as an assistant coach — Johnson's teams have posted a combined record of 113-16-6. Her main roles as an assistant coach within Women's Soccer are to oversee the defensive unit and to be the recruiting coordinator.

JOE MARTIN

As the assistant director of facilities at the Slater Family Ice Arena, Joe Martin's primary roles are to oversee the pro shop, concession stand, student employment, and the maintenance of the ice surfaces. He attended Miami University and worked at the Goggin Ice Center. He spent two seasons with the Toledo Walleye and four years as a building operations manager with the Chiller Ice Rinks in Columbus, Ohio. Martin came to BGSU pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Administration while working as a graduate assistant at the ice arena.

RYAN PALL

Ryan Pall is native of Uhrichsville, which is located in East Central Ohio. He is the assistant equipment manager for Volleyball, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball. Pall's duties include managing day-to-day operations of the equipment room including budgeting, selection of shoes and apparel, maintaining inventory of equipment, and assisting the facility staff in many areas. As a 2018 BGSU graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in General Business, Pall has served in multiple equipment manager intern roles before holding this full-time position.

MEGAN VAN TATENHOVE

Megan Van Tatenhove serves as the advisor for Men’s Basketball, Baseball, Gymnastics, Swimming & Diving, and Women’s Tennis. Van Tatenhove monitors the student-athletes' weekly academic progress, assists in the development of the students’ class schedules, and helps them understand the NCAA academic eligibility requirements they need to follow. She has worked for Owens Community College, Cleveland State University, Siena College, and St. Bonaventure University. Within those capacities, she provided general advising as it related to her advisees’ degree completion, participated in the implementation of new student orientation, and oversaw the functions and budgets of study hall and tutoring programs.

JIMMY WALKER

Jimmy Walker enters his first year as head coach of the BGSU Women's Soccer team. He was previously the head coach at Duquesne University. Walker also was an associate head soccer coach at Penn State University, the executive director of coaching at Pacesetter Soccer Club and the head coach at the University of Findlay. During the 2019 season, while head coach at the University of Findlay, he took the team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He has played for Aston Villa FC Academy of the English Premier League and for the Kalamazoo Kingdom and Cleveland Whitecaps in the USL.

LIZZY WILSON

Lizzy Wilson serves as assistant director of compliance at Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining the compliance staff, Wilson served as compliance intern for the compliance department at Ohio High School Athletic Association. She then joined the compliance department at The Ohio State University as a compliance coordinator. In her current role, Wilson assists in monitoring all areas of personnel, amateurism, recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, award and benefits, as well as playing seasons. A native of Indianapolis, Wilson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Administration from Indiana University Purdue University of Fort Wayne. Wilson received her Master's Degree in Kinesiology (Sports Management) from Ohio State University in May 2020.
