High school juniors and seniors: Earn college credit and discover Spain's rich culture, history and language. 

For more than 50 years, the BGSU education abroad program in Alcalá de Henares has been helping students experience the beauty of Spain. During the two-week experience from June 2-15 2024, participating high school juniors and seniors will live with a host family, travel to gorgeous cities and gain confidence in their Spanish language skills.

Program Highlights

  • For high school juniors and seniors
  • Instruction in SPAN 3950 - Workshop in Spanish Language and Culture (3 credit hours)
  • Host family experience with dedicated and caring host families (includes meals)
  • Excursions to Madrid, Granada or Asturias

Important Details

  • Cost: $2,810 (does not include airfare)
  • Minimum GPA: 2.5
  • Health and Safety insurance coverage in place
  • Additional leader(s) supervise students outside the academic, host family and excursion experiences
