The BGSU School of Art offers minors in 11 areas of study. Students in any major – even those who have never had access to an art class before – can choose an art and design minor.

Art

The Art minor allows students to acquire foundational knowledge of the discipline of art. Students are required to take three art foundations courses, two art history courses, and two art electives.

Art History

The Art History minor allows students to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of art history and theory.

Curriculum includes field experience and service learning opportunities throughout Northwest Ohio.

Students take courses in engineering, architecture, entrepreneurship, art, and design.
