My Summer Experience: Cathie Moore Sep 1, 2014 7:00 AM I spent my summer in Israel on an archaeological dig on Tel Megiddo for seven weeks. My workweek was Sunday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off. The week was crazy busy. We got on the bus to the site at 4:30 a.m. each morning, and by the 8 a.m. breakfast, it felt like I had already carried what seemed like hundreds of buckets of dirt and dripped just as many buckets of sweat.

Owens Corning (OC) is a market leading fiberglass manufacturer. Their product line extends from home insulation to car parts. I had a very interesting experience as a supply chain intern for this company. My summer began on May 20 with about 50 other interns who were all equally as anxious I was to find out the projects and people they would be working with all summer.

He also spent time with like-minded artists, created a series of drawings in oil pastel and learned how to screen print.
