Reading by Distinguished Visiting Writer Rebecca Morgan Frank
Join the English department Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Prout Chapel for a reading from Spring 2019's Distinguished Visiting Writer, Rebecca Morgan Frank.
Rebecca Morgan Frank is the author of Sometimes We’re All Living in a Foreign Country and The Spokes of Venus, both from Carnegie Mellon University Press, and Little Murders Everywhere, a finalist for the 2013 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Harvard Review, Orion, and elsewhere, and her collaborations with composers have been exhibited and performed across the U.S. She is the recipient of the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay di Castagnola Award for her next manuscript-in-progress, as well as fellowships from such places as the Mississippi Arts Commission, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Ragdale Foundation. She is co-founder and editor of the literary magazine Memorious and the Distinguished Visiting Writer at Bowling Green State University for Spring 2019.
