Public speaking, professional digital literacy, and collaboration are essential for many life experiences, internships, and careers. Your Showcase Presentation, Tutorial, or Arts-Based Project could signal all of these sought after skills. Your submission has the potential to help you shine during an internship/job interview or on your resume/CV.

In your WRIT course, you are already completing projects that could be adapted for a Writing Showcase Presentation or Tutorial. You may already create TikToks or other digital content. Harness that creative energy and allow it to lead you towards a professional Writing Showcase website publication. The 5-Minute Pre-Recorded presentation option would require similar expertise.

Q: What work can I showcase?

Any individual or collaborative project related to work completed in a WRIT course. Presentations, tutorials, and arts-based projects are accepted. Descriptions, specifications, and models for each project type.

Q: What is a Writing Showcase Proposal?

Proposals are stand-alone documents that propose what you plan to submit for Writing Showcase. You do not need to have your Presentation, Tutorial, or Arts-Based Submission completed at the time of submitting your proposal.

The primary audience for the proposal is the Writing Showcase review committee. The secondary audience is conference attendees that will read the Abstract you will submit as part of your proposal. Required information for your proposal.
