Diversity and Inclusion
Statement on Diversity and Inclusion
The Department of Theatre and Film embraces intellectual and artistic community enriched and enhanced by diversity and inclusion across multiple dimensions including race, ethnicity and national origins, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodiversity, disability, class and religion. We recognize that (1) representations of many of these groups have historically been limited or nonexistent and that (2) many representations that exist are inaccurate, exclusionary, and harmful. We strive to provide space and opportunity for our community to engage with and pursue storytelling from diverse perspectives.
