Department of Chemistry

Part-time Instructors (Adjuncts)

Details: The Department of Chemistry at Bowling Green State University (www.bgsu.edu/chemistry) seeks applicants for possible part-time teaching positions in introductory-level chemistry lecture and lab courses during the Fall 2026 and Spring and Summer 2027 semesters.

Qualifications: Candidates must have an MS in chemistry or its equivalent.  A PhD in chemistry or a closely related field is preferred.

Authorizing and passing a background check is a condition of employment.

Application: Applicants should submit: 1) a letter of application, 2) a full curriculum vita, and 3) an official transcript indicating the awarding of the highest degree.  Arrangement should also be made to have two original letters of recommendation provided.  All application materials should be sent electronically to chemistry@bgsu.edu.

Department of Physics and Astronomy

Part-time Instructors (Adjuncts)

Details: The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Bowling Green State University seeks applicants for possible part-time teaching positions in the 2026-27 academic year and the following summer. Successful applicants will teach undergraduate courses in physics and/or astronomy.

Unless they request otherwise, qualified applicants will also be considered for future part-time positions that may arise.

Qualifications: A master's degree in physics, astronomy, or a closely related field is required and a Ph.D. is preferred. Evidence of effective teaching at the college level is preferred.

Part-time Instructors (Adjuncts)

Details: The Department of Psychology at Bowling Green State University seeks strong applicants for part-time teaching assignments in the areas of introductory psychology, developmental psychology, and statistics for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters.  Successful applicants will teach undergraduate courses in psychology.   

Qualifications: Candidates must have a master’s degree in psychology. Evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.

4.      official transcripts indicating the highest degree earned

Details:  The School of Earth, Environment and Society at Bowling Green State University (http://www.bgsu.edu/arts-and-sciences/earth-environment-and-society.html) seeks applicants for possible part-time teaching positions for introductory Geology, Environmental Science/Policy, Geospatial, and Geography courses for spring semester, 2026, fall semester, 2026, and spring semester, 2027.

Qualifications: Candidates must have at least an M.S. in the discipline or a closely related field.
