Start your Housing Application

Living on campus is an exciting part of the college experience and gives you the opportunity to build life-long friendships and also supports academic success.

It has been proven that students who live on campus have a higher GPA – and persistence towards graduation – faster than their peers who live off campus. Because of this, Bowling Green State University’s Board of Trustees has set a Residency Requirement that states a student must live on campus their first two years (four semesters, excluding summer session.)

Housing Application Guides

Returning and future BGSU students follow two different room selection timelines, making it very important you follow the correct housing guide.

The most important thing to remember is the final day the online application will close for you. You will need to have your housing and dining agreement completed and made your $200 initial housing payment by that deadline to guarantee you will receive a room selection time. Students who complete these two steps prior to the deadline will receive a RANDOMIZED room selection time.
