Dear prospective doctoral intern,

Welcome to our APA-accredited doctoral internship program, and thank you for considering the Bowling Green State University Counseling Center for the 2026–27 training year.

You will find information on our website about BGSU and the surrounding community, our Counseling Center, our training program and professional staff, and details about the application and selection process. The doctoral internship at the BGSU Counseling Center provides diverse opportunities for professional growth, with training experiences designed to strengthen your clinical skills, expand your professional identity and prepare you for a career in the field.

Our training staff is committed to creating a supportive, challenging and collaborative environment. We take pride in offering high-quality supervision and learning opportunities tailored to each intern’s goals and strengths.

Our internship has been fully accredited by the American Psychological Association since 2008.
