Bowling Green State University received a Silver Seal Award for increasing its student voting participant rate at the 2019 ALL IN Challenge Awards Ceremony. BGSU’s data reveals a near tripling of voter participation from 2014 to 2018, going from 11.9 percent to 35 percent, a 23.1 percentage point change.

BGSU alumnus named best Ohio TV reporter by Associated Press
BGSU alumnus Duane Pohlman was recently named best Ohio TV reporter by the Associated Press. He is an investigative reporter for WKRC-TV, Channel 12, in Cincinnati, where he has worked since September 2016. Prior to landing his current position at WKRC, Pohlman worked at several television stations across the country.
